This will secure your child's place for a maximum of 4 month from the date it is received. If you fail to take up your child's place from their scheduled start date, you will lose your deposit. 

Your deposit will be returned on termination of your contract with Ducklings Childcare on the condition that all fees are paid in full, and the requisite 4 weeks’ notice has been provided.

For each additional month you require us to hold your child's place. If you fail to take up you childs place you will lose your deposit.

Parents that only wish to access their child's FEEE hours are charge a £200.00 deposit, no matter how many hours they are accessing. This deposit is returned 4 weeks after the start of their child first term.

If you have agreed to pay any additional charges, however minor, your deposit will be held in line with Duckling Childcare’s Normal deposit terms.

 You can usually get free childcare if you (and your partner, if you have one) are:

• in work
• on sick leave or annual leave
• on shared parental, maternity, paternity or adoption leave

 Over the next 3 months you and your partner (if you have one) must each expect to earn at least:

• £2,167 if you’re aged 23 or over
• £2,117 if you’re aged 21 or 22
• £1,557 if you’re aged 18 to 20
• £1,098 if you’re under 18 or an apprentice

 You may still be eligible if your partner is working, and you get Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Limited Capability for Work Benefit or contribution-based Employment and Support Allowance. 

A child can also get free early education and childcare if any of the following apply:

• they’re looked after by a local council
• they have a current statement of special education needs(SEN) or an education, health and care (EHC) plan
• they get Disability Living Allowance 
• they’ve left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or adoption order

FEEE on a term-time only basis with the option to pay for meals, snack and additional extras. We offer sessional slots which are 5 or 10 hours long. Ducklings will claim for the full slot you have been allocated or chosen whether you use it or not. This means that you will not be able to claim any unused hours at another setting.

If you wish to claim your child entitlement with us, we will need you to choose either a FEEE ONLY contract or our ADDITIONAL CHARGES contract.

Ducklings Childcare offers the FEEE on a term-time only where you are allocated the days and times your child attends and DOES NOT include any Extras such as;

•  Fruit
•  Snacks
•  Meals
• Nappies
• Extracurricular activities included in normal fee rate (trips out to park and local area)
• Flexibility of funded hours (you can choose the slot that you would like your child to come to fit in around your work or prior commitments) subject to availability.
•  Guaranteeing a place in the following terms.
• The ability to purchase additional days on top or your funding or during holidays.
• Equipment and Resources (consumables)

Meals and snacks can be purchased separately without signing up to the additional charges.

There are 2 snacks and 2 meal times in a full day and there is 1 snack and 1 meal in a half day.

We are happy to accept children with a packed lunch which complies with our packed lunch policy.

We are happy to accept nappies provided from home.

· Paper - 500 sheets

· Paint - 600 ml, Black, White, Red, Blue

· Chalk - outdoor playground chalk, pack of 12

· Drawing Equipment - Pencil x2, Crayons 2 pack of 12, feltips x3 packs of 12

· PVA Glue - 500ml

· Glitter  - 100g 6 colours

· Messy play - Shaving foam x4 200ml, Cornflour x 4 500g box

· Wet wipes - 1 pack per month

We are happy to accept the above itemised items from family instead of payment.

You can choose to be All Year Round or Term Time only.

• The Rates of charge will not exceed Ducklings Childcare's published fee rates equivalent to the fee rate for these sessions/days.

• The charge cannot include activities that are not already included in the settings normal fee rates.

• These services, benefits and guarantees must be already included in Ducklings Childcare’s normal Fee contracts but not in Ducklings Free Funded Hours Contract.

• Ducklings Childcare may from time to time increase or decrease these fees in line with its normal rates, on giving not less than 4 weeks written notice of such increases. No notice for such decreases.
